Craig Lodge Family House of Prayer

 Craig Lodge
The Family House of Prayer in Dalmally is run by the Craig Lodge House Community. The community is made up mainly of young people, from the UK and abroad, who have taken time out to seek direction and to come closer to God through their way of life which includes daily Eucharist, Adoration, Rosary and Scripture Study, and through offering hospitality to those who come to their door. The community is constantly growing and is always open to new members. The community also includes families, vowed religious and single people who have chosen to live and work nearby in order to be part of Craig Lodge.

The community offers a full and varied retreat programme, from pricommunityvate directed retreats to painting retreats and family and youth weekends. People are also welcome to stay for a few days of quiet midweek if they prefer. A particularly popular event is the annual Easter Triduum for Young Adults which begins on Maundy Thursday.

One of the great fruits of the community is the aid organisation Scottish International Relief (SIR) which reaches out to some of the poorest people in the world, especially through Mary’s Meals, a campaign which provides meals for thousands of children in school in countries such as Malawi.
